Oakmoss Draughts

About this game
Standard English draughts (American checkers) on an 8x8 board: captures are compulsory, a jumping piece keeps jumping, reaching the far row crowns a king and ends the move, and forty moves each without a capture or a man moving, or a third repetition, is a draw.
How it works
You play the acorns and move first. Easy looks one move ahead, shows hints and allows unlimited undo; Medium searches four moves with a simple winning plan and three undos; Hard searches six moves with positional judgement and one undo; Inferno deepens its search to a fixed budget with endgame knowledge and no undo.
Twelve Problems ask you to force a win within a set number of moves. Records, solved problems and an unfinished game stay in this browser; a match abandoned for a new one counts as a loss.
