About this game

Raise an island town one hex at a time in a living 3D harbour. In Sandbox every piece is unlocked from the start: houses that join into terraces and stack up to four storeys, towers and stone walls that link together, paths that turn into bridges over the water, docks, windmills, a chapel, a lighthouse, markets, gardens and lamps, plus grass, meadow, wheat, forest, sand, rock and water to paint and land to raise or flood.

How it works

Villagers walk your paths, boats come and go, and the windows light up at dusk; set the time of day, season and weather, keep six towns, share a town as a code and take a picture. Charter is the scored mode: each pack of buildings scores from what is already around it, so the order you build in matters; reach each target to earn the next pack, and clear eight charters to found the town.

Every island dealt is checked to be winnable. Easy gives a roomy island, three packs to choose from and undo; Medium a smaller island and two choices; Hard makes every building join the town; Inferno deals the day's island and lets the sea take three marked coastal hexes after every charter. Towns, best scores and an unfinished charter stay in this browser when storage is available.
